Phillip Mercer
Phillip began his career in post-frame construction shortly after high school and went on to build many of Carolina Structural’s early projects as a trusted subcontractor. When the company’s former owners retired, he was given the opportunity to carry the business forward. Today, he leads Carolina Structural with a commitment to quality craftsmanship, precision, and exceptional customer service.
DESIGN & BUILD COORDINATOR
Jerry Baker
Jerry is a United States Marine veteran with more than 25 years of residential construction experience and a passion for quality craftsmanship and customer service.
His leadership and dedication help ensure every project is built to the highest standards. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the beach with his wife, Heather, and daughter, Avery.
PROJECT MANAGER
Tim Doughtie
Drawing from experience in construction, law enforcement, and home inspection, Tim brings valuable knowledge and attention to detail to the Carolina Structural team.
He is committed to helping customers achieve their building goals with confidence and peace of mind. In his free time, he enjoys golf, playing guitar, and spending time with family.
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
Ashlyn Monds
Ashlyn holds a Communications degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and manages Carolina Structural's marketing, advertising, social media, and public relations efforts from Tampa, Florida.
She balances her professional role with being a full-time stay-at-home mom. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and family at the beach.

David Peele
David has six years of construction experience, including four years with Carolina Structural.
His dedication to quality workmanship and attention to detail help ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
CARPENTER
WIll Mercer
Will has been a valued member of the Carolina Structural team for more than two years and also serves as a licensed minister.
He enjoys helping customers bring their visions to life, especially through custom barndominium projects. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.

Nate Heffline
Nate brings hands-on construction experience and recently earned his Business degree from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas.
His background helps him combine practical jobsite knowledge with a strong understanding of business operations.
Outside of work, he enjoys sports, spending time with friends and family, and staying active in the gym.
